Every piece begins with accumulation — layers of paint, torn paper, found material, and mark-making that builds over time. The surface is not a destination but a record of decisions, revisions, and the occasional accident that changes everything.

The work lives at the intersection of the deliberate and the discovered. Color arrives before form. Texture precedes meaning. What remains on the canvas is what survived the process — and that survival is the work.
